The C-510 was part of Ladik’s Synare-inspired modular series. Its Envelope Decay provides control over the pitch modulation of a self-resonating filter via the Envelope Out, while the Sweep parameter changes how drastically the pitch drops. The VCA Decay determines how long the audio output lasts after the trigger, allowing the shaping of short clicks to long booms.

Though discontinued, it was originally designed as one-third of a trio for drum synthesis:
