Terms of Sale and Returns Policy


All items shipped via Canada Post with available/suitable insurance.

Canadian customers pay their provincial sales tax rates.

American Customers are not subject to Canadian tax.

Customer pays all shipping/brokerage and duty charges.

There is a handling fee on all items.

Purchases to the US/International in some cases may be held at customs. We have no control over this- your patience is appreciated. Items held at customs are not eligible for a refund until they are released.

Please note all purchases are made in Canadian Dollars and, in the event of a return, refunded in Canadian Dollars. We do not insure against currency fluctuation.



Items purchased in store:

All consignment items have a 3 day warranty period- if any defects that were not noted prior to sale are detected within that time period they can be returned for a full refund.

All store owned items have a 24hr warranty period- if any defects that were not noted prior to sale are detected in that time frame they can be returned for either a repair or a refund.

All purchases (store owned or consignment) can be returned for reasons other than defect for store credit within 24hrs. After the 24hr period they are no longer eligible for return.

Items purchased and shipped:

All items are clearly and accurately described. Please feel free to ask any questions before making a purchase. All shipped items have 24 hour inspection/trial period. If you wish to return an item we must be contacted within 24 hours of receipt. Customer pays shipping and brokerage. Paul’s Boutique has a 24 hour inspection period before issuing repayment.

In the event of damage during shipping, original packaging absolutely MUST be kept for inspection. This is imperative as Canada Post will not refund insurance value to you without seeing original packaging. International shipments returned to us must be insured for the full retail price of the item but must have a declared value for customs of $0.
